Katy Perry's provocative video will Not Appear on Sesame Street

Let me break this down for you, my dear reader(s). Katy Perry, pop star, shot a video with Elmo, parodying a popular song of hers. The lyrics were innocent enough and the music video was cute; however, there was a public outcry by parents because of Perry's short dress and cleavage.

In a society that hyper-sexualizes EVERYTHING, this issue is just funny to me. It's not like Perry is flashing a 5 year old kid. Do you think the kid will even notice her cleavage? Doubtful. You could find dirtier content on billboards driving down the street. In other countries they have nudes on page three of the newspaper. I don't know... I guess American's are just super hypocritical
